This charming loft with its own roof is situated in the heart of Trastevere, a short way away from the most famous monuments and enchanting squares of the old town centre: Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, Piazza Venezia…St' Peter's Basilica is quite near too. In these places you can both savour the history of the "old Rome" and amusing yourself walking on Trastevere alleys in the night. This two-level house has an independent entrance; on the ground floor there is a living room with a kitchenette and a fireplace; the bathroom with a shower is also on this floor. On the upper floor there is a double room with all comforts; from this room you can have access to a balcony and look to the roofs around. This house is equipped with an autonomous heating system, an air conditioning system, a TV set, a DVD player, an oven and a microwave oven, a washing machine and a refrigerator. Free Internet WiFi

Our Trastevere’s neighborhood is known as the most typical of the city. During the day, in its narrow streets you sense the atmosphere of the ‘800 quiet life, thanks to the preservation of its historical sites and of the ancient craft shops. The cobbled streets are mostly car-free, the restauratnts and cafes serve up some of the cheapest eats you’ll find in Rome and it’s good too, the square in front of Santa Maria in Trastevere church is very charming. During the evening Trastevere becomes the heart of the Roman nightlife and it’s very easy to lose yourself between several pubs, disco bar or pizzerias. Trastevere Borgo was very important since the age of the Roman Emperor Augustus, he wanted to extend the Rome’s boundaries to this “Regio Transtiberina”, before that time it was occupied by the Etruscans.It becames the seat of important Roman villas of which have been found some ruins.
