APPIO LATINO. The "Appio Latino" district was born in 1909. Its centre is "Kings of Rome''''s square"a square full of boutiques where you can do shopping. Bbetween the most important monuments around this area, you can admire Porta San Ssebastiano and the famous "Aurelian walls". The district is connected very well to the rest of the city, thanks to the underground. You cannot miss "parco della Caffarella" and "Villa dei Quintini".

The apartment is in a quiet district, near the underground, the park and the trading centre. It is spacious, comfortable and clean. The landlady is ver kind and helpful. She can hire a taxi if you need one.

We found the apartment to be clean, comfortable and very liveable. The contact person Franca is extremely friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs. When there was an accidental blackout at the apartment, she came with her husband in 5 mins to help us sort out the problem. She further assisted in getting a large taxi cab to help fetch us with 5 large luggages to the train terminal.
The location, though near the metro is somewhat far from the main train station. If there is no need to get to the main train station, this should not pose a problem. The other slight inconvenience is the sharing of a single toilet.

The subway line is about 3 minutes walk from the apartment. With it you can reach the Central Railway Station in 15 minutes.

Very nice apartment, well furnished, close to the metro line A and supermarket. Eaisy to get from the apartment into to Rome, Vatican, Forum, Spanish steps etc. The contact person, Franca, was very helpful and friendly. We (family of five) caught a taxi from/to the airport (Fumicino)for about 60 Euros to save having to get through trains / buses / walking to apartment with our luggage - seemed to work pretty well.

Extremely clean apartment, very close to the metro station, which is all you need in Rome. There is a wonderful market just around the corner where you can get all you need for a wonderful breakfast. The contact person was very kind and helpful. I would return to this place anytime.

Arriving by car the place is very easy to find The parking lot is good and safe The Appartement is quite big and very clean Good location (near shopping areas) Near the metro (and the metro is quite cheap) The owners are very helpful
The walls are quite thin so that you can hear the neighbours, the traffic and the airplanes. However, I wouldn't call the place very noise.

Appartement trés bien situé, trés proche du métro. Parking clos pour la voiture et facile d'accés depuis l'autoroute. L'appartement est trés bien équipé, parfaitement chauffé en hiver . L'accueil est trés chaleureux, Francesca parle parfaitement le francais. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, nous recommandé franchement cet appartement.

Great apartment, very clean, nice and quiet, and very close to the metro. We were really happy with our accommodation. It was perfect for us and the apartment owner was fantastic.

Location & connections via Metro to Rome Secue parking Apartment good size with patio. Provision of condiments and welcome pack. Owner very welcoming and information provided was very helpful.
Second bedroom sparsely furnished Lack of cushions for sofabed ie to use as a sofa No wine glasses and cooking equipment/utensils sparse.

The owners were superb and extremely personable and went out of their way to accomodate arrival and departures times. Franca speak very good English. The apartment is spacious and clean and ideal for families or groups + cheap local amenities
