SCHÖNEBERG. The famous Winterfeld Market on Winterfeldplatz, the “KaDeWe”, Continental Europe’s largest department store but also the historic “Rathaus Schoeneberg”– they are three of the hot spots for Berlin visitors in the Schoeneberg district. Hohenstaufen Street is not more than 15 minutes by foot from each. There are many nice city walking tours through Schoeneberg. On the market place, there is a large variety of biological products every Saturday and you might meet some of Berlin’s VIPs from politics or show biz. The axe from Nollendorf place with its elevated subway station through Maassen St, Goltz St. and Akazien St. has become a gastronomic center where the cuisines from all over the world are just one door away from each other.
