Main Market Square is one of the largest and most beautiful historic squares in Europe. From St Mary''s church every hour a trumpeter plays the Hejnal. The Royal Route leads from here to Wawel Royal Castle. Planty is a ring of greenery that embraces the city centre and reaches the foot of Wawel Hill, where you can still visit the lair with a dragon.
